Connect WeChat
Install the Tencent Weixin plugin, scan to connect your account and use private chat for tasks.
1. Identify the integration
Connect WeChat through Tencent Weixin's @tencent-weixin/openclaw-weixin plugin for direct chats and media. Check its version and access-control instructions first; this guide covers private chat. Official WeChat guide ↗
2. Install on the Gateway host
Confirm a working model first:
openclaw plugins install "@tencent-weixin/openclaw-weixin"
openclaw plugins enable openclaw-weixin
Check the command results and start the Gateway. If your cloud image already includes WeChat, use its configuration panel.
3. Sign in with your own account
openclaw channels login --channel openclaw-weixin
Scan only the QR generated on your host and review the phone confirmation. Keep QR codes, state files and account credentials private.
4. Check the actual scope
Check channel status and send a simple private message from your own account. Configure allowed senders and permissions using the plugin instructions. For failures, check host uptime, plugin logs, login state and model quota.
