Install the free MochiLab Skills assistant once, then find, install and update Skills in OpenClaw chat.

1. Install the assistant

After installing OpenClaw and connecting a model, send it this message:

Start a new conversation after installation so OpenClaw discovers the assistant.

2. Connect your account

Create an access key under “Connect Skills assistant” in your account. Run this in the terminal on the OpenClaw computer or server, replacing the path with the installed location, then enter the key at the prompt:

Claim and install free Skills, or download subscriber-only Skills with a membership. Manage your keys in your account.

3. Use it in chat

Install MochiLab’s daily brief Skill.
Check my installed MochiLab Skills for updates.

The assistant explains features, reports installation results and checks prerequisites. Updates keep a backup of the previous version.

First-install instructions for the agent

Resolve the active agent’s absolute OpenClaw workspace and check node --version. Node.js 24.16+ or 26.1+ is required. Download the official script below to a new temporary file and run bootstrap. It verifies the package and installs workspace/skills/mochilab-skills. Stop if that folder already exists.

Read the script before running it and substitute real paths. No account key is needed for bootstrap. Run openclaw skills check afterward and ask the user to start a new conversation. The user connects the account in their own terminal.
